The hotel had some issues with the rooms needing updating, being smaller than expected, and lacking seating areas other than the bed. The cleanliness was a concern, with broken taps in the sink and bins not being emptied. However, the service was enjoyable, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was excellent, close to town facilities and the beach. The dining experience was a mix of cold pre-cooked food but also some nice meals. The facilities offered were decent, with a good pool table available.

7.6/10
The hotel offers basic but adequate rooms for a short stay at a good value price of £60/night for a double with en-suite, including breakfast. The rooms may be small and in need of a deep clean in some areas like the skirting boards and remote control.

Service

The staff were very friendly and helpful, even offering us alternative rooms at no extra cost when needed. The lovely breakfast was a standout feature of the service.
Location

The hotel is centrally located close to the town and back of the bus station. While not in the most picturesque area, it's convenient for exploring the town and beach. Parking is easily accessible with a permit for a small fee.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was included but could have been improved, bacon was not well-done. Overall, the dining experience was satisfactory.
Facilities
The hotel features a lovely south-facing patio at the front and a pool table for entertainment. However, the bar was closed during my stay.
